Weekly Point Allowance: 35 (optional points that can be used any time during the week for overages or splurging on a treat)
Food Point Value:
(Calories/50) + (Fat/12) - (Minimum(Dietary Fiber,4)/5)
Note that you can only use up to 4 grams of Dietary Fiber in the calculation. So if you have 2g of fiber, you would use 2/5. If you had 6g of fiber, you would use the 4/5 value since it is capped at 4g.
Update:
Activity Points
I just discovered this information (July 2017).
Activity points are deducted from your daily accumulated points. You need to use the following formula:
Weight (lbs) x Duration (min) x Intensity Factor
Intensity Factor:
- Low
- 0.0002332
- Not sweating from activity, can carry conversation
- Medium
- 0.0003270
- Sweat after about 10m of activity. Can say few sentences but not full conversation.
- High
- 0.0008077
- Sweating after about 3-5m of activity. Can say few words as a time, but no much more
